Introduction of End Suction Pump
The GISO / GIS series end suction pump is a flexible and highly efficient foot-mounted single-stage end-suction pump with back pull-out design. This pump has been designed with latest CAD (Computer Aided Design) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics), and is manufactured with the best engineering practices worldwide. This highly efficient and flexible design makes the GISO / GIS series end suction pump ideal for wide range of pumping applications, from water supply and irrigation to mining and building services.
Design Configurations
The series offers two distinct design versions to match your installation needs:
GISO Series (Long Coupled):A frame-mounted design ideal for heavy-duty applications. It is suitable for belt-driven motors or flexible coupling connections, providing robust performance for demanding environments.
GIS Series (Close Coupled):A compact stub-shaft design engineered for direct attachment to 2 or 4-pole IEC frame motors. This space-saving configuration is perfect for plant rooms with limited footprint.
Flexible Mounting: Standard units feature a vertical centerline discharge. However, the versatile casing allows for horizontal discharge or even vertical mounting of the bearing housing to suit complex piping layouts.
Design Versions
The GISO / GIS end suction pump comes in two designs: “GISO” long coupled (frame mount) series is suitable for belt driven motors and “GIS” close coupled (stub shaft) series is suitable for direct attachment to 2 or 4 pole IEC frame motors. The standard horizontal configuration units have a vertical centerline discharge; however these models can also be mounted in a variety of different positions including horizontal discharge, with or without vertical mounting of the pump bearing housing.
Pumped Liquid
Our end suction pump is designed for non-combustible, low viscosity liquids, free of solids, abrasive materials and fibres. Various liquid chemical compositions are capable of being pumped through the use of a variety of construction materials and seal options (Refer to materials listed below).
