When the gas molecule enters the inlet of the pump, it is impacted by the rotor blade, and the mechanical energy of the blade is transferred to the gas molecule, thus giving it kinetic energy. Gas molecules use this kinetic energy to enter the gas transmission holes in the stator. The gas molecule collides with the rotor surface again and then moves outward to the exit.
