Introduction of QJB Submersible Mixer‌

‌The QJB Series is a versatile submersible solution engineered for diverse industrial needs. Depending on the process, it offers two configurations: the direct-drive "Mixed-Type" for turbulence and the gear-reduced "Low-Speed Propeller" for circulation. Available in Cast Iron (Casted) or Stainless Steel (Stamped) body options to suit various corrosive environments.


High-Speed Mixing Series‌

Ideal for wastewater treatment plant balancing tanks, nitrification/denitrification tanks, sludge treatment/storage tanks, and industrial processes involving liquid mixing with suspended solids. Effectively prevents sedimentation.


‌Low-Speed Propeller Series‌

• Suitable for industrial & municipal wastewater aeration tanks, anaerobic tanks, large-scale nitrification/denitrification tanks, disc-type activated sludge tanks, disinfection pools, and industrial mixing. Generates low-shear, open-channel strong water flow, enabling easy creation of:

• Nitrification/denitrification/phosphorus removal phase water flow

Structure of submersible mixer

The QJB submersible mixer is mainly composed of the mixer body, installation system and the electrical control equipment.


According to the function mode, the QJB submersible mixer can be divided into two categories: 1) Mixed-type submersible mixer (corresponding to the direct-connected submersible mixer); 2) Low-speed flow propeller submersible mixer (corresponding to the non-direct-connected submersible mixer).


According to the blade forming method, the QJB submersible mixer is further divided into two subcategories: 1) Casted mixer: The blades (impellers) are formed by casting, and the main body casing is made of cast iron; 2) Stamping mixer: The blades are formed by stamping, and the main body casing is made of stainless steel.


1.Mixed-type submersible mixer

As shown in Figure 1, the direct-connected submersible mixer is mainly composed of two parts: the impeller and the submersible motor, with the impeller directly mounted on the motor shaft. It is generally equipped with a jet ring (its function is to increase axial flow, reduce radial flow, reduce impeller vibration, and improve operation stability); while the low-speed flow propeller submersible mixer is not equipped with such a jet ring.



2.Low-speed flow propeller submersible mixer

As shown in Figure 2, the low-speed flow propeller submersible mixer is mainly composed of three parts: an impeller, a submersible motor, and a speed reduction device. The impeller is mounted on the output shaft of the speed reduction device.

• Purpose of use; 

• Tank shape; 

• Tank dimensions, including water depth; 

• Medium characteristics: including viscosity, density, temperature, solid content, etc. 


The matching power required for the mixer is determined according to the volume, tank size, density and viscosity of the stirring liquid. One or more mixers are used according to specific conditions. 


The QJB submersible mixer must work completely submerged in water and cannot work in flammable and explosive environments or environments with highly corrosive liquids!
